Drops of Wisdom Book Launch in Person

A wonderful morning at Kariwak, Tobago. The first in person DROPS OF WISDOM book launch and signing!

It was interactive and we all got to talk about our experience with the book and some of the poems, and how they can resonate and spark something in each one of us as we all have human experiences.  

Some of the poems that resonated with some of the participants were:

"Joy", "Enough", "Pain", "The Wheel", "The Real Healer", "The Modern Witch", "An Angel", "Heart to Heart"

I absolutely love listening to the feedback and which poems resonate and how and why they resonate to each one as unique individuals that we are. We have our own perspective and insight into the poems but ultimately we all feel human emotions and that is what connects us in our deepest and truest level when we read this book.

Let your heart blossom like a rose bush

With delicate soft petals

And sharp strong thorns

There is a reason for everything in nature

A rose will not be a rose if it didn’t have thorns

Let your heart be like a rose bush

With beautiful delicate and exquisite fragrance

So anyone who comes near your heart needs to touch it with care and love

Anyone who comes near your heart trying to reap it off or cut one of your roses

With no care, no love, no respect, no awareness

Will encounter the thorns

Your heart is meant to be treated with care, with love, with soft hands just like a rose petal

Anything other than that

Let the thorns take care of it

A rose is incomplete without the thorns

Everything in nature has its purpose and its reason to Be.

And remember it or not

You and me both,

Are also made from Nature.
